“Hold My Hand” by Lady Gaga

a spacious reverb-soaked midtempo ballad with string vocals, booming drums, and of course, an electric guitar solo. The track also recalls ‘80s-era arena-pop and Gaga’s 2011 hit “The Edge of Glory” but certainly benefits from her aged and more controlled vocal skills that seemed to develop from the 2018 vocals of ‘Shallow’ and “Always remember us this way”. The rock-influenced anthem has Gaga belting well before she hits the chorus. It’s a song that demands vocal skill, strength and consistency but the songstress tackles it with ease.

Conan Gray, Superache Album Release

The TikTok breakout star and Georgetown native fiercely embraces his romantic failures with his second album; no wonder he’s been dubbed the Prince of Sad Songs. Grays confessional style singles have a sense of emotional drama and baggage that feels so connective and relatable. The 23-year-old’s ever-evolving concept of love is on full display exposing his vulnerabilities and desires on this new album as he moves away from the resentment expressed on previous hit, ‘Kid Krow’. Gray’s early years began on YouTube, where he wrote songs and shared artwork with millions of viewers and one very important producer, Dan Nigro (Olivia Rodrigo, Caroline Polachek, Sky Ferreira) who put him in the studio and became an important mentor to the new comer.

Lupe Fiasco, Drill Music in Zion Album Release

Chicago-native and self-proclaimed “most black-balled rapper ever,” Lupe Fiasco released a new album, ‘Drill Music in Zion’. These singles stray as far away from Lasers’ lapses of commercial submission as possible, becoming progressively more experimental, sheltering him from broader mainstream adoption but DRILL MUSIC IN ZION is arguably his most accessible album in years, with Lupe showing himself to be in impeccable lyrical shape. Recorded last summer and Produced entirely by Soundtrakk — the beatmaker behind highly acclaimed singles such as “Kick, Push” and “Superstar” and his recent Tape Tape EP.

Cabela and Schmitt — Eyes Wide Open

‘Eyes Wide Open’ by Cabela and Schmitt encourages you to go for what makes you happy in life

Most people, at one time or another, wish they could be more carefree but perhaps it’s as easy as letting yourself dance around to a song. I think it starts with understanding what makes you happy and going for it.
