‘Wash’ by Mae Krell
This single makes me unplug in a way I never knew I needed. Writing songs since 16 years old, Mae has been using it all to find inner peace and a better understanding of self.
Heartbreaker by The Calicos
released a whimsical song with beautiful instrumentation that supports romantic lyrics firmly rooted in tradition. https://open.spotify.com/track/09pSJ264hNtTn4b9U2epKS?si=VG2jRLpeSJykiFxZbk6oUA
Unlovable by Daniel Del Russo
resonates with me for it’s catchy Beach Boy California vibes and infectious lyrics. I love this simple yet engaging single.
‘Lover This Is Goodbye’ (All Hallows Eve Mix) by Ryan Boyce
A revamp on a previous single from his EP, this song has a creepy feel just in time for Halloween. This is a Spaghetti Western Murder Ballad infused with some modern sounds of Rock n Roll and Alt Country. The original version of this song, on The Crucible EP is still my favorite, but this is a great, haunting, more methodical version.
Greg Hoy — ‘Can You Take It?’
‘Can You Take It?’ is about finding calm from the little things as the world blows up, and a conversation between those feeling in control with those that are out of control. Greg’s songs have been featured on network television shows such as One Tree Hill and MTV’s Made.
