Monster Truck — Golden Woman
Playing loud-and-proud hard rock that mixes strutting ‘70s-style arena sounds with a dash of grunge-era sneer, Monster Truck were formed in Hamilton, Ontario in 2009 by members of two of the area’s most popular bands — guitarist Jeremy Widerman and drummer Steve Kiely had played with the group the Reason, and keyboard man Brandon Bliss worked with Saint Alvia. Eager to play the sort of no-nonsense hard rock they’d grown up on, Widerman, Bliss, and Kiely teamed up with singer and bassist Jon Harvey, and in 2010 Monster Truck cut a four-song EP, originally sold at the merch tables at their shows. <Spotify>

The singer, Jonathan Joyce, was inspired to write this song from being away from his daughter for years and he misses her to death. He wrote a song about what it feels like being so alone and the person you love is so far away. He thought of several situations while writing such as being away from your soulmate, or your family. In this song, the singer’s soulmate is on the moon, while he is still stuck on earth. She is messaging him from her skylab saying “If you are ever alone, I have a place for you. He sends the message back up to his soulmate saying the same thing “if you are ever alone, I have a place for you down here”
Panic at the disco — Viva Las Vengeance
Panic! at the Disco is the solo project[1] of American musician Brendon Urie. It was originally a pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 by childhood friends Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson. They recorded their first demos while they were in high school. Shortly after, the band recorded and released their debut studio album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out (2005). Popularized by the second single, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”, the album was certified triple platinum in the US.
Skinny Dippers — Home (Surf Rock | United States)
Skinny Dippers is a Brooklyn NY based Indie Music project fronted by singer/songwriter Ryan Gross. Drawing from his roots growing up on the coast of Maine, his style spans a broad range of genres by blending guitar driven indie rock arrangements with analog synthesizers and choral harmonies. The songwriting shares intimate moments through understated lyricism while turning them into feelings every listener can relate to. Jack White — If I Die Tomorrow
One of the great rock conceptualists of the 21st century, Jack White came to fame as the leader of the White Stripes, the Detroit-based garage-punk duo who unexpectedly became one of the biggest rock acts of the 2000s. The White Stripes established White as a roots rocker — he made sure they covered blues chestnuts from Son House — to such a degree that his modernist art instincts were somewhat overshadowed during the band’s peak. <Spotify>
Hollywood — 12 am
Rising artist 12AM has released his new single “Hollywood,” out now. The song, co-written and produced by Grammy-nominated producer John Feldmann (Blink 182, Avril Lavigne, Sueco), was inspired by the artist’s return home to Toronto after spending the past few years in Los Angeles. Greg Hoy & The Boys — Jet Black, Get Back!
Oakland, California plug-in-and-play rock artist Greg Hoy has blown the cobwebs off the van to tour supporting the ‘The Special Party’ album release. Lead single ‘Jet Black, Get Back!’ infuses a classic rock n roll vibe and oozes with an retro fresh attitude. The band’s 2022 Build Back Better tour will also be performing songs from their 6 song EP ‘Enjoy the View’ recorded by Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) and mixed by Sylvia Massy (Tool, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty). The band’s video for ‘Can You Take It?’ featuring hip hop legend Ice-T was nominated for a California Video Award (Most Humorous).
